Smt.Yogambal Sathishkumar

Smt.Yogambal Sathishkumar is renowned dancer, Artistic Director, Teacher and Founder of Shri Harshika Nrithyalaya, Art and Cultural Academy. She gave up her IT career to pursue performing arts.

Her dedication and passion for dance makes her to work as Bharathanatyam teacher in Sun Beams Primary School, Porur, Vels Global School, Manapakkam. Many students from all over India and abroad have bloomed as performing artistes from this dance school.

Yogambal has been recognized by many famous organizations and government bodies for her talent and contribution to the field of Bharathanatyam. She received following titles ‘ Natya Sudar’,’Natya Mamani’,’Natya Kala Aacharya Shikhamani 2022’,’Best Achiever Award in Bharathanatyam,’Sathir Mani’ from Sathir Awards 2022. Received prestigious awards from Singer Susheela Amma, Pondicherry CM N.Rangaswamy etc

Shri Harshika Nrithyalaya founded by Yogambal to impart training in Bharatanatyam she feels its her duty to propagate this art form, which has given her immense joy in life.
