MR.A. XAVIER

Mr. A. Xavier is a seasoned educator with over 27 years of experience in the field of education. He started his career in 1996 with St. Joseph Matriculation Higher Secondary School, in Poonamallee, Chennai as High School English Teacher for 6 years. This School is one of the DFT Group of Institutions run by DMI Catholic Nuns. He then served as Higher Secondary English Teacher and as High School Social Science Teacher in Kalashetra Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Kattupakkam- Ayyappanthangal, Chennai for 10 Years. He joined again DFT Group of Institutions and served as Senior Secondary English Teacher for 2 years at St. Joseph International Residential School (CBSE) in Sriperumbudur. Subsequently he was promoted as Principal and Head of the Institution to St. Joseph English Medium School (CBSE), Saswad, Pune. He served there for 5 years. He is back to Tamil Nadu and has been serving as Principal and Head of the Institution since 2016 in DMI St. Joseph Matriculation School, at Acharampattu, Vanur TK, near Autryville.

According to him Education is training and transforming the young children into good human being and productive citizen. A school is a place of full of information and formation. He motivates and trains his teachers to make the children to be physically fit, mentally/ intellectually alert, emotionally/ psychologically balanced, morally, spiritually and materially sound.

He gives utmost importance to impart quality education to the pupils in order to face the changing and challenging competitive world, to inculcate curiosity and creativity and to make teaching and learning process more joyful and scientific.

He is an eloquent speaker and Trainer and has been invited to train and promote DFT Group of Institutions teachers.

His conviction and passion are to promote the Academic, emotional and social well being of all pupils under his care.

He is the recipient of Best Principal conferred by JCI Erode Excel Pathippagam and received from K.A.Sengottaiyan, State Minister for School Education for our school children children securing the Second and Third Places in State Level GK Competition

He received the Best Principal Awards for promoting Art and Literature. The Awards were conferred by OSCAR Educational Trust, Third Generation, and ACHIEVERS education Centre, NEW CREATORS Education Centre, and TALENTENA Educational Trust. Global Event Managers

With the help of the teachers and students he conducted many Social Awareness Campaigns.
