G. Anbarasi Anandan

G. Anbarasi Anandan born in Puducherry started to learn dance from the inspiration of Smt. Prabhavathi Dinakaran. She started to learn Bharathanatyam at age of 18 under beloved Guru. Smt. Jayashree Narayanan and Smt. Shanthi Babu and also learned Mohiniattam under the guidance of respected Guru. Smt. Vichitra Dinakaran. She started to learn Kuchippidi under Guru. Ragini Sreenivasan for 5 years. She had completed B.F.A. of 5 years in Bharathiar Palkalai Koodam, Puducherry and M.F.A. (A++ Distinction) of 2 years in Kalai Kaveri College of Fine Arts, Trichy, Tamil Nadu.

She did her Arangetram at the age 22 in 2001 at Alliance Franchise, Puducherry. Over a period of 20 years she had performed over 200 stage performance in India and Abroad.

Her tenure is groomed under different styles of Bharatham especially ‘Kalakshetra’ style from Guru. Smt. Jayasree Narayanan.

She had worked as Dance Teacher in St. Joseph of Cluny School, Puducherry for 6 years and in Achariya World Class of Education, Puducherry for 4 years. She has also sent over 8 students for stage performance to France.

She have been teaching Bharathanatyam from the period 2001 till now in Puducherry and Villupuram has a Dance School of her own named ‘Sri Ranjani Nrithiyarpanam’ and also worked in Reunion in ‘Ecole de Danse et de Musique PAJANIAPPEN de Saint Pierre’ for 300 plus students.
